Kissimmee pines in my opinion were what could be expected of a two star room only basis. Rooms were comfortable, cleaned every two days including bedding changed and clen towels. The location was a bit far out for us, as we had to drive for between half hour to an hour & half a day to visit parks. The grounds of the hotel were very well looked after & very pleasent. Hotel staff were great, friendly on hand & very helpful.I would certainly visit this hotel again, especially as we have now visited alot of the parks. An ideal place to relax & feel very welcome.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. The kitchen supplied adequate utensils for cooking. It had a full size fridge and stove. Plenty of room to cook detailed meals. Beds were comfortable and linens were changed regularly. Balcony was right in front of the pool so we had good access to it. The hotel staff were extremely courteous. We felt like part of a family while we were there. Surrounding area was convinient to local shops and restaurants. We found the area to very safe. Locals went out of their way to help us-(got lost plenty of times). There was no on site restaurnat so we ate of propety most of the time. Overall we were pleased with this hotel.

Having read some mixed reports before arriving at this hotel I was a bit unsure of what we be awaiting us. However, when we arrived we soon realised that this was a small family run business that was run by very friendly people.
Although the location is not the most desired in Orlando and did not suit us totally (as we had no car, it depends upon what you want from a holiday as to whether or not this would suit you. If you have a car then this location is well positioned - you are a fairly short drive from Disney and Old TOwn Kissimmee. The I-drive is not far away and can easily be accessed with a car.
The hotel offers reasonably priced shuttle runs everyday and the owner is very flexable about what time and where you want to be picked up, delivered etc.
The swimming pool, though not particularly large, was never overcrowded and really quite pleasent.
The hotel is cleaned about 3x a week. though this entails changing the bed and towels and hoovering the floor weekly. the sinks, shower and toikets were not cleaned during our 2 week stay - though i get the impression that if we had requested it, they might well have done this for no extra charge. (we did not feel that the bathroom was ever in a state where it needed cleaning particularly though).
The overall selling point of this hotel though, is the staff; who were very accommodating right from the boss to the groundsman. They sought out local deals for us and on several occasions went out of their way to arrange transport to places etc. There local knowledge was extensive and accurate - as they were locals. they also speak fluent spanish, which was useful for many spanish customers. having forgotten our key on one occasion and arriving back at the hotel late in the evening we had to disturb the caretaker to come and let us in. this was not a problem and was done in good cheer - even though he must get it all the time!
i would reccommend the hotel to those who are not after luxury accommodation, but those who are after a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay.

kisimmee pines was small, basic rooms and no entertainment/ restaurant, however had a fantastic time there. staff were v.friendly and helpful, offering transport for about 15 dollars to all major parks. pool was v. clean although small. room was kept in excellent condition throughout stay, air conditioning and shower in perfect working order thankfully (v. hot weather all day and night!) plus hotel offered laundry services. shop right across from hotel catered for all the essentials, also several good restaurants within 5 - 10 mins walk e.g red lobster and ponderosa steakhouse. small mall and cinema nearby. personally found it a bit quiet so only really used the hotel for sleeping in but if you like peace and quiet it is perfect!!
