Second time we have stayed in Parc Corniche and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. Plenty of nightlife a busdrive away but the resort itself was lovely and relaxing. Our 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, overlooking a beautiful lake, ideal for birdwatchers/animal lovers. Squirrels, ducks, many different species of birds, lizards, frogs, even the odd snake we saw from our balcony.
Just aroud the corner from Seaworld and Discovery Cove. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole stay. Only disappointment was the restaurant inside the hotel, a little bit expensive and we were the only ones eating there. No atmosphere. The breakfast was wonderful, buffet with a huge selection, fruit, cereals, toast, bagels, pancakes, several types of fruit juices, tea, cofee. And you help yourself. Staff were helpful.Would certainly recommend to friends.

Family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 children aged 10 & 15 stayed at the Parc Corniche Condominium/Hotel at the end of International Drive last two weeks of June 2008. Found the hotel accommodation peaceful and quiet, clean and of good size (we had a 1 bedroom). You walk into the living space from a small hallway with the kitchen immediately off to your left divided from the living room by a generous counter space (good for use when preparing dinner) which also holds the sink. If you turn around from the counter, the full size fridge/freezer (with auto-ice maker-turn it on in the freezer)is against the wall behind you with hob & large microwave over same and there is a seperate grill to the right of that also wall mounted. A toaster is provided together with coffee maker (you get a few filters...purchase more yourself) and dish washer(sample wash tabs provided - buy rest yourself) - all equipment was in good condition(!). The diningroom table and 4 chairs are located on the edge of the 'living room' side of the kitchen counter. Can opener, wine opener, measuring cup, full set of spoons, knives, forks all in good stainless steel. Lots of pots, pans etc.
A separate doorway off the small hallway on right leads into the outer bath area - large built-in dressing table with sink in it and wall to wall mirror for pampering. From this area another door leads you into the privet area with a full bath/shower. Lots of soaps/shampoos and conditioners provided of a good quality. Plenty of towels, toilet tissue and boxes of tissues are provided.
Another door from the outer bath area leads you into the bedroom (this contains a door directly from the living room also). A large king-sized bed was provided with a very good medium firm mattress and great built in closets along one wall. We had fantastic storage space between the living room and the bedroom. The balcony held a small plastic table and two chairs. Each room holds different equipment...so don't be disappointed if yours has more/less than I mention here.
The mattress on the sofa bed in the living room was terrible on arrival - very worn out and flat. A complaint to Reception resulted in a new mattress within the day.
Sheets were good cotton, there were plenty of blankets and we received fresh towels/empty bins (waste baskets) each day and a full clean once a week. Pool towels are available at no charge in the building at poolside. Laundry facilities are located on each floor of the complex's buildings (7 in all, 3 storys each). There are lifts in each building. Air conditioning worked like a charm! View from the balcony was either of the golf course next door (owned by the Marriott Hotel across the road) or the lake nearby. Very tranquil setting with lots of rabbits, squirrels and on one occasion, a fox, scampering about the facilities. Felt very safe also.
Pool small (no life guard...probably one reason why accommodation less $$$)
and clean. Good time to go was after breakfast before heading for the theme parks etc. Breakfast provided includes 4 kinds of cereal (healthiest option - raisin bran equivalent), brown/white toast/white bagels, 4 kinds of juice, tea/coffee and 3 kinds of Entennman's (spelling?) donuts which are very good. For a basic Continental breakfast we felt it was more than adequate and enough to set one up for the day. The Dining room is a large function room and has no windows...so eat and GO! Staff are accommodating (women more than the men!!!) in Reception. Special thanks to Carla R. who made our reservations via the internet...she booked my folks on the same floor - with different arrival dates without hassle. My folks are in their 70's and fussy - they were impressed!
Staff sell theme park tickets at half price...if you want to sit through a 90 minute video presentation on their Condominiums. If not, they also sell slightly less than retail price tickets directly...enquire about these.
Walmart's on Turkey Lane Road (about 1 mile drive) is the best supermarket in the area for stocking up on good food/drink, summer clothes at cost (good brands) including runners etc, and toiletries (including great deals on Loreal etc make-up - fantastic with the dollar still pretty good. Get written directions with a map from Reception. DO NOT USE THEIR SHOP...milk was $4.00 a half-gallon (roughly 2 litres) - outrageous! This place also has a pharmacy. It resembles a shopping centre on its own. Spirits are not sold here...there is a good shop just up the road a bit on the same side of the dual carriage way.
All in all we found the Parc Corniche ideal for our family. Got plenty of sleep each night, and it was a peaceful haven to return to in the evening. This is NOT a good spot for party animals as there is no evening entertainment and the in-house restaurant doesn't offer much that you can't enjoy elsewhere on International Drive. Enjoy!
