The Sheraton Safari is a perfect hotel for visiting parks and enjoying a great location for all the this wonderful place has to offer. After reading a number of reviews for the hotel we were starting to feel a little nervous of what to expect, there was no need.
The hotel rooms were large and clean and the bed linen was fresh and stylish. We had two rooms, the first was facing the road, and was told at check in because we were on a special holiday for 14 nts we would get an upgrade when a room came availble to a pool view, without even having to ask.
The staff were very helpful. Our safe kept locking us out but security were with us in 5 mins each time. The cleaning staff always asked to see you room key and checked you were the occupiers of the room if you returned while they were cleaning, which gave us a great deal of comfort of the security of the hotel.
If you wish the hotel allows you to have a take out delivered to your room.
Facilities in room - TV - good pic but some dodgy channels but hey your not there to watch telly.
Fab Hairdryers
Iron and ironing board included
Big wardrobes
x2 double beds
Bath with over shower.
Lots of free parking
Beds and towels changed as regular as you wish, just leave your towels on the floor and the change my bed card on the bed.
We never used the pool, but it looked nice open til 11pm, also never used hotel bar / food, we had breakfast next door at sizzlers all u can eat for $3.99 and really nice.
Olive garden italian over the road really lovely.
If we was going to be honest we would rate hotel at 3.5 stars, simply because its not luxury, and looks a little tired in the corridors and externally, however rooms great, lobby and bar area lovely.
Overall great hotel, perfect location - and the most fun holiday ever.

Arrived mid afternoon and booked in no problems. Room spacious and clean, in building three. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool and slide, which was always supervised.

Stayed at this hotel 5th Oct -19th 2006.
Hotel was OK but not great!
On arrival we were sent to building 2 room had dirty sheets mould on walls and ceiling. Went back to check in and was given room in building 3 6th Floor that had recently been painted.
Much better room but still not great. Room was dark which the decoration does not help. Housekeeping was not good clean towels daily and beds were made but room was not cleaned for 10 days!
Pool was OK but water is deep for younger kids.
My kids loved the slide.
We only used the room as a base were out from early morning until late at night other wise we would of moved!!!
Hotel is in great location and check in staff very helpful.
Upgrade to a suite is $60 + tax a night. These rooms were much better.
Wouldn't go back to this hotel but it is OK if you get a good deal on the price. Felt we paid far to much for the bad quality that it is.
