Hi,
We travelled as a family to Hawks Cay during August 2008. We thought that the hotel was fantastic. Our rooms were clean and big enough for a family. It only could have been improved by hosting some sort of entertainment for the evenings.

We stayed here for a week as part of a three week holiday to Florida.
We were part of a party of 31 with children and adults for a wedding. The hotel is very clean and looks beautiful more like the Caribbean.
The rooms are a good size with very large bathroom / dressing room with coffee maker ironing board and iron. We also had 2 very big double beds, large tv, fridge and air con.
The hotel has its own lagoon and at least 3 different pools. One is a large pool for everyone, an adults only pool and another for children with a big ship in the middle to play on. Dont bother with beach towels unless you want to leave the resort as they provide them for you.
There is also a dolphin enclosure and you can swim with them for an extra cost. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We only ate at the hotel once on the night of the wedding as we liked to try the local restaurants but it was very nice.
Drinks were quite expensive but there are supermakets close by. There wasn't any entertainment that we saw but as we were part of a large group this didn't matter to us.
Would love to stay here again as its so beautiful and very relaxing would be a great place to stay after a week or two hitting the parks in Orlando.
