This hotel is excellent.
My wife and I stayed here on the first leg of our honeymoon and had the time of our lives.
The rooms are the most spacious, cleanest rooms I have had the pelasure to stay in, we had great views of the lake and could see the Magic Kingdom Fireworks display every night from our balcony whilst enjoying the warm evenings with a nice glass of wine.
Transport link to all the Disney Parks were great, although we did hire a car to get further afield.
There were not too many children on the complex, however they were accomodated for with two excellent pools (with slides etc) and a nice lake side sandy beach.
I would love to go back to this resort at some point in the future and would recommend it to any body.

Well I have travelled many a time out to Florida and we normally always stay in a villa. We thought we would pay the extra this time for the children and stay on site.
The differences were superb! The only down point for us is we love the space in a villa yet for the 4 of us in 1 room able to watch fireworks from our balcony or bed if lazy was certainly worth it. Every night at 9 o clock a little boat display would come out onto the lake and play music, my 1 year old daughter loved that. She was always asleep for the fireworks at 10pm yet we would watch it from the balcony whilst she was asleep. Some people would watch it from the beach.
From reading others reviews on this hotel I think they experienced lots of trays outside doors in different room blocks. Yes we paid more for a castle room view but we never experienced trays in corridors etc. We had room service quite a few times yet at a 18% supplement yet so easy with the kiddies. They would bring the food within half hour and set up the table for us. You are able to ring them to collect the tray yet we normally left it in our room till our cleaner came the next morning. Our cleaner was superb we never had afternoon cleans always in the morning.
My children loved having the beach - we used the one outside our block a lot. We were in block Tahiti which was furthest away from reception yet we were happy with it.
We had a complimentary fridge in room which I had requested - again this could have been free due to our room type. We used it to store my daughters milk.
We brought mainly from Wallmarts yet we also brought the milk cartons at $1.69 from captain cooks for convenience yet that is the same price as all over the Disney park - maybe they should get bigger ones in the future for guests
Our son was booked in a few times at the Neverland Club (en site) and loved it at 10 dollars an hour and tea included he really enjoyed it. We used the time to use the en site launderette. Cheaper to buy own washing powder at wallmart if you can be bothered, if not come armed with lots of quarters. $6 approx in all per wash and dry was what we spent
Reception was superb quick no queue - maybe if we arrived at the same time as Disneys express there could have been a long wait? we were given the property info sheet
We did the Ohanas character breakfast- main thing was the characters, busy restaurant though and not as intimate as the princess one we did in epcot. Our server wasn't the greatest yet others seemed a lot better. If your kids want to see mickey then probably the best choice for breakfast. I gave that more 6 out of 10
Location - what can I say I do not think you can get better. We walked to the ferry port for Magical Kingdom. monorail to Epcot etc. never used the buses yet they go everywhere. Its the first time we haven't had to rely on a car over there. we still used it for shopping malls etc though
My husband only wants to stay at this hotel now. So we had better start saving as it was an expensive holiday yet worth every penny.
I have travelled a lot round the world due to the industry I am in and I would be happy recommending paying that bit extra for this hotel due to the easiest holiday in Disney we have ever had. It was so nice to pop back to our room when it got too hot for the kids and go back out later. We liked the facility of having little resort launches back over the lake so if the big boat was busy (eg if it rained) we would jump on that
Forgot to say a famous England footballer was staying in our block too so if its good enough for him I think it must be good enough for others! There wasn't many English at the hotel mainly Americans
