The Omni is situated in the heart of the French Quarter. It is peaceful yet only a couple of minutes walk away from Bourbon Street.
Our room was small but immaculate. It had air conditioning, minibar, cable tv, tea/coffee making facilites, an iron and board and a big brolly! The shower room was also small - to the point where you could probably touch the walls at either side.
Staff were very efficient.
It has a roof pool which is lovely and has some great views.
While we were there their Rib Room was closed for refurbishment so I cannot comment on their restaurant.
The had a bar accessed from outside which was cosy but had a rather grumpy female bartender!
Entertainment cannot really be rated as there was none!
The hotel is full of 19th century artifacts and is a great Creole hotel.
Would I stay there again? Yes, the only thing I did not like was the small room but as it is an old building there is not much that can be done to change them!
