We thought this hotel was going to be fantastic for our 3 children... but how wrong we were it was a nightmare just keeping hold of them, with everybody pushing you out of the way as it was so busy.
The hotel states that is is child friendly and there certainly lots of children there all running about screaming with no parental supervision at all. My children are 12, 9, and 7 so are not babies but I still felt I could not let go of them due to the chaos???? As for the staff they are very rude and do not have time to answer any questions you may have unless you are spending money.
The circus acts were fairly good from what we could see through the crowds, but only lasted 10-15 minutes each then a half an hour wait till the next one.
The location of the hotel is too far out if you want to walk down the strip, and the area outside is quite seedy as the were pictures of half naked girls all over the pavements and lamp posts advertising their services, which is not nice when you walking with inquisitive children!!!
Check out was the biggest nightmare as there was only one person serving and that meant we were in the queue for 2 nearly hours and only just made our flight home!!!!! Hence I did complain but was looked at as if I was alien.
So please be warned leave plenty of time to check out.
Put it this way I would rather spend a week in Great Yarmouth in a caravan in the rain than visit this hotel again, basically because it would be better value. I would give this hotel 0/10 because basically it's a dump! Sorry but true.
My advice is spend a bit more and stay further up the strip at the Luxor as you really do only get what you pay for!!!

Like most people I was very wary about going to Las Vegas with two young children, as we were guests at my Brother in laws wedding we had no option but to attend.
We went for Circus Circus because friends had said that the children would love it, How right they were. We found the Hotel very clean and staff friendly, The hotel corridors and rooms were huge and spotless. The staff were courteous and very pleasant, and always wished you good luck! even though I don't gamble, yes this hotel is full of families with prams and buggies but what do you expect for a hotel catering for families.
The swimming pools had life gaurds on duty during opening times.
The hotel entertaiment and theme park was what we expected, brilliant or throught the eyes of a 9 & 7 year old amazing.
The only down fall for this hotel is the location, We traveled to las vegas with a party of 49 spread out from the top to the bottom of the strip. Most of the guests were at excalibur/ New york but in relation to room quality, Our room at circus Circus I thought was much better in decor.
I would have no problem returning here again.

This is a typical American hotel. It is basic and the rooms are a long way from the front of the hotel (and the strip).
American hotels never have tea and coffee facilities in the room that us Europeans like. It is quiet in the rooms but the hotel itself is pretty full-on noisy and extremely busy.
The area of the strip where this hotel is located is also 'old' and when I go back to Vegas I am going to stay further down the strip (MGM Grand/Bellagio type area).
If you want somewhere cheap then this is a reasonably good choice though I would recommend spending a bit more and going for a higher star rated hotel.

Hotel decor was clean but dated. Buffet was good value, steakhouse was excellent, but more expensive. Hotel was too crowded and noisy - it really was a Circus. There were large family groups, kids, prams and buggies everywhere. We could not enjoy any of the facilities as there were large queues, or it was simply too busy to be enjoyable. Having visited many other hotels in Vegas, Circus Circus was by far the worst, in every respect. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you enjoy being jostled, pushed about and trod on!!

More a giant motel than a hotel it was dirty and it teemed with Kids, a deturbing place where families gambled together. It is miles from the other Hotels but all the hotels seem the same inside full of slot machines and it always seemed hard to find somewhere to eat the Hotels want you to gamble not eat, or and there are adverts for prostutes on every corner. It was my idea of hell why would anyone take their kids here?

We thought we were staying in a 5* Hotel it was that nice. The food was absoloutly fantastic and plenty of it as you can imagine in America. The rooms were spotless as were the corridors ans Casino.
Entertainment, well where do I start. There is so much of it you'll never get bored. An indoor Theme Park with largest indoor Rollercoaster in the world.
Shopping Malls and circus acts every half hour.
Would go there every year if I could and definatly going back soon. Value for money without a doubt.

Hotel was Ok overall, I would not recommend this hotel to couples, first time in Vegas and way too many kids in prams and parents gambling, was not a pretty sight I can tell you.
Huge hotel and room was nice, just not what you would really expect for Vegas.
Pink Pony for breakfest was superb, really cheap and loads of food, try steak and eggs, or even a skillet.
Parents take your kids to Florida or somewhere nice not to Vegas.

circus circus was a very clean and pleasant hotel. the only down side is that it is at the far end of the strip and it is quite a walk to the main part of the strip. i would recommend this hotel if you are tsking kids, however if you are going in couples then try somewhere else. overall a good hotel.
