Excellent hotel just far enough away from the strip to be an oasis of calm in this ' in yer face' resort. Breakfast was very nice considering it was included in the price. Didn't use the swimming pool so I can't comment. Free drinks for 2 of the 3 nights we were there were a welcome bonus.

Just returned from great holiday in Las Vegas. The apartments were extremely spacious and very quiet, but only a short walk from the MGM and main strip. Coffee was replenished everyday and towels/linen changed regularly. We had a nice balcony to enjoy the morning sun. The gardens and pool area were lovely and the hot tub very soothing after a long day walking around Vegas. (Even pool towels were provided). Always managed to get a sun lounger. Breakfast was ample and the free drinks six evenings a week (between 5-7pm)was a real bonus. All staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite and the services of the concierge was brilliant, we booked our tours through them and got better deals than those offered outside.
We would thoroughly recommend the Desert Rose, it is most definitely a lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the strip yet within walking distance of all that is going on. Cannot fault it at all.

Chose this hotel as first time Vegas visitors who didnt want to stay right on the strip or in a gambling hotel. We couldn't have made a better choice. It is ideally situated just a few minutes walk away from the MGM Grand & the Luxor.
As stated in the previous review the Desert Rose is a little oasis with excellent facilities, well kept gardens & pool area. The suites were very spacious with well equipped kitchen areas & yes it was lovely to have a balcony to sit out on.
In addition to the complimentary breakfasts there was a managers welcome party most evenings through the week with beers/wines/soft drinks & nibbles.
The staff were all very knowledgeable & the concierge service was also very good. We booked a grand canyon trip through them which was dealt with very efficiently.

this complex was ideal for us,just off strip it was a little oasis.A breakfast was included which was more than ample and the pool area was lovely. the apartments were spacious and well equipped with iron and board, coffee maker, full oven, dish washer, all the dishes you would need and a free safe.they also left coffee for you every morning. There was also a balcony which you didn't get in all the big hotels. We loved it.
