I stayed at this hotel for one night when passing through the area as part of a storm chasing group.
We arrived after dark at this hotel after a long day on the road. It's the first time I have stayed in an AmericInn and I have to so say the first of many I hope. The reception area was very welcoming and resembled a mountain hunting lodge. Run by a family, this hotel was very clean and exceptionally comfortable. It's a shame we only stayed for the one night.
I particularly liked the communal jigsaw puzzle in the reception area, I could have spent hours working on it with a nice coffee.
The hotel has a nice indoor pool and also serves breakfast, although we used neither.
