Great budget hotel with a great location near all the attractions - including the famous Alamo and the RIverwalk which is less than 5 mins walk away.
We hired a car and the car park at the hotel (free for guests) is large with plenty of room so you never had to circle the lot waiting for a space.
The hotel has a small pool with Sun terrace and loungers and although the weather in November was nice, we were always so busy out and about we never had the chance to relax poolside.
Staff were always helpful and polite. Breakfast is included in your room rate and this was great. They had 3/4 types of coffee, 3 types of juices, scrambled eggs and sausauges, individual boxes of cereal, bagels, pastries, muffins, waffles, toast and a fresh fruit salad bar.
People say when you stay in San Antonio you have to stay on the Riverwalk but with rooms starting at $200 a night for hotels there, the Hampton Inn at $69 a night was fantastic value.
Would definitely stay here again if we were to return to San Antonio.
