We booked what was supposed to a VIP Lodge with hot tub through Hoseasons only to find when we arrived that the park was scruffy and unkempt, and the accommodation was tired, unclean, shower head held together with red insulation tape, weeds everywhere. Our view over the weekend was of the park owners array of friend and family sat on a picnic bench across from us, drinking and swearing.
I do not know what was supposed to be VIP about this lodge, apparently this is rated 8/10 according to Hoseasons staff and inspected 1/2 times per year. We left early it was that bad and have subsequently complained to Hoseasons through who we booked, but they are passing the buck back to the park owners, but I am determined to take this further. Would not recommend and would not book through Hoseasons ever again.
