We booked a special leisure break for 2 night which was dinner, bed and breakfast and included a champagne picnic thrown in!
The food was excellent and the restaurant has 2 AA rosettes for the food.The view of the Lake from the restaurant is spectacular and you eat there for your breakfast and dinner.
The menu for dinner didn't change the 2 nights we were there so if you booked for longer, you may struggle to not eat the same thing twice.The hotel was clean and the rooms adequate but not overly luxurious.You can book better romms but they are expensive for the money. Our room overlooked the gardens at the back.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but the scenery is stunning.Be prepared not to have any mobile coverage while you're there. The staff were pleasant but not over the top.
