first class hotel in a convenient location for all Cardiff's shops and attractions. We walked to the hotel from Cardiff Central station which took us 15 minutes.
We entered a spacious reception with shining marble floors and were checked in quickly by helpful staff.
Our first impression on entering our 5th floor room was how large it was. We had floor to ceiling windows across one whole wall, a king size bed, writing desk with table lamp and ample storage space.
The room was complete with flat screen tv, mini hi-fi with piped music in the bathroom, trouser press, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The bathroom was beautiful with a large, deep tub and spacious shower and we were supplied with the usual toiletries and soft fluffy towels.
We only visited the restaurant for breakfast which had a wide variety on offer, from juice/toast/cereals to full English or even fresh fruit and yoghurt. You could also have kippers and poached eggs or porridge on request.
There was a nice sized bar area complete with large screen tv. There was a swimming pool and spa which we didn't have time to visit unfortunately.
The whole hotel was clean and bright. We would definitely recommend it to others.
