most of my stay on the ship was good value for money .my biggest bug bear was the captain . i am a kean salt water fly fisherman . when visiting the middle east the captain refused to give me permission to fish in the port ,even after he had told me that if i got port authority permission it would be ok , i then got the permit and the go ahead from customs . when i returned to the ship the captain refused to give me the go ahead even tho he had me wait for over 3 hours for a reply.i have been on 2 other cruises since and have fully enjoyed my stay and fishing without any problems. i contacted costa by e mail 6 times and never received a reply. i or my family will not board another costa ship.

hi.all.....for a three star ship i suppose its not too bad......(not good) but not too bad.......
the cabin we had was one of the largest we have ever had for a inside cabin....the cabin was kept spotless clean by the maid ....towels changed twice a day sheets twice in the seven days we were on the ship..the only down side to the bathroom was the shower if you are a person of limited height(under 3 foot 2 inches)you would have been o.k....(i am 6 foot 2 inches )i really hated that shower .
the food ..yuk .yuk .yuk............pasta pasta pasta for the majority of the menu at lunch and dinner (i really hate pasta).......breakfast in the resturaunt half self service half waiter service (if he remembered your order or got it right would have helped.....ask for eggs and bacon and hash browns and you are over tasking them .
the lido up top the food was often barely warm .
the entertainment during the day was sometimes on sometimes not........the night time shows 50/50..
the entire crew we had dealings with ...wwere first class and all ways friendy.....
now the worst part .the drink prices (i am from yorkshire)...oh my god............a half litre of beer was 4.88 euros and the glass was not filled up .......the coktails 4.75 euros mostly juice..the spirits the same or dearer........
room service all had to be paid for barring the basic menu.....
would i go back on a costa cruise ......nope.....
