does anyone know if leo and the crew from 2005 are coming back this year as it was rumoured they were coming back.

i also heard there is a new water park close to the club alize is this true. if so hoe close to the club alize is it.

Hi
Leo was at the Alize last year but no idea if hes going back this year. Water Park is on the hill beside the Alize. You can see it from the hotel. Its as short walk up a steep hill !!!

Hi I remember seeing Leo in 2005 but he wasn't there in 2006 when we were there in Aug, but did hear rumours that he might be back this year. Maggie

Hi all, we;re booked to stay at the alize for 2 weeks on 25th august having only stayed at the portabello before, we have a 2 bed appt and was wondering where would be the best place to request a room. We have 3 children with us aged 11, 8, 3. Would a low level poolside be really noisy. Any help with room numbers would be great also i don't fancy a high floor with a 3 year old who likes to climb. Sorry if i seem really fussy!.
P.S i'd be grateful for any other tips anyone might have to help towards a great holiday.

Sorry cant give you a room number, just give you some advice on a room. We had a 2 bedroom last year, no pool view, more to the back. The room was very quiet did not hear anything after we went to bed. There was 5 off us and as only the bedrooms are air conditioned we moved the mattress off the bed/settee into our room and my daughter happily slept on that. The only problem we had with our room was that the balcony was off the main bedroom and although it was only May when we were there it was too hot to get up and sit in the kitchen area on a morning as there was only 2 small windows. If you read back on this thread I am sure there are some 2 bed room numbers with pool numbers. Another tip is to take a small screw driver as the A/C are individual units in the bedroom worked by remote. The remote is screwed to the wall in a holder and the only way you can alter the setting is too take the holder off the wall.

hi mickyjo, our family went to club alize sept. 05 and had a 2 bedroom apartment but it was on the second floor. we found it great but we didnt have a 3 year old with us. we had a pool view and if you look at brochure pictures of apartments our balcony was just above the penguin statues head. our balcony was off the living room bit unlike someone mentioned before. when you go into the alize you go up some steps so you are actually on the second floor then so our apartment was on that level. we had a great pool view which we didnt find too noisy as they close the pool at 6pm and if you want you can watch the entertainment from the balcony if you dont want to go out. these apartments are really good as they have an ensuite off the main bedroom as well as another bathroom. wherever your room is i am sure you will have a great time. by the way our room number was 1204.

Thanks so much for the advice. I might try to e-mail them to see if i can have a room in the penguin area poolside. :)

Hi Mickyjo, we've been to Club Alize twice and last year had a two bed apt, room 1404 the same block by penquin but more nearer to the slide but on fourth floor, excellent accommodation. It's a great place plenty going on day and night and not too far from anywhere, read through all these pages i'm sure you'll get lots of tips, enjoy your holiday Maggie

Thanks maggiemae, do you think if i email them will they understand what "by the penguin" means or should i put the request in to first choice :?
Also has anyone got any ideas as to what i can do for my daughters 11th birthday as i don't want it to go unnoticed because we are on holiday and was just wondering whether to spend it at the hotel or arrange to go elsewhere but not sure how to go about arranging something. Thanks

Hi Mickyjo, you could e-mail them i'm sure they'll understand, a nice day out for your daughter's birthday would be a boat trip or even a trip to the waterpark, and at the Tansas supermarket down towards the harbour they do lovely cakes. There are loads of lovely restaurants to have a nice meal in.Maggie

Hi,Mys123 just heard today Leo is working in a hotel in Cesme, such a pity he's not going back to Alize. But you're bound to have a great time at Alize, I shall miss not going there this year, giving Alanya a try, hope it's as good. Maggie
