Just went to pay our last payment of our May holiday to Olu Deniz only to
to find they have changed our flight times much better one
But not only that they have changed airports as well
Can we asked for transport to the airport now with it not been our choice
Were do we stand on this?
Any info would be gratefull a.s.a.p

I think the first thing to do is ask. The small print ( T&Cs ) may cover this and that as on another topic is important.

I would certainly ask that they offer you some form of compensation for travel to and from the new airport as this wasn't what you booked which was part of your original contract. But as FWH says check the terms and conditions in the tour operators brochure as this will be what you agreed to when you booked.

*Edit I have just checked one of the major tour operators terms and conditions and change of airport is agreed to being a major change where they would always pay you compensation. However it's on a sliding scale and compensation payable per person if you are notified more than 56 days in advance is Nil.
But good luck anyway.
Would i be able to get refund ? reason been ive just got same holiday up on internet by DIY saving £300 on each family
I dont mind the change in flight times as there really good times its just the airport change

The one I used for reference for instance says for major change:- "cancel your holiday with us and receive a full refund of all monies paid"
Let us know how you get on. And when booking new holiday (if you do) please be aware that any flight times may also change before you depart
The following week we got a phone call saying there had changed our airport we went into the first choice shop and asked if we could be compensated
They said no, were do we stand on this ive been back in today and they said we have to make our own way to airport which we were doing in first place but the airport was quite close to were we live so we didnt mind
But now there have changed airports its quite away from were we live
I put a post on here before when they first changed it but cant find it
We do we stand surely they have to offer us some sort of compensaion i asked today and the girl said that First Choice are offering us nothing at all
basically take it or leave it
There is 2 familys going on this holiday and we have both paid our money in full were do we stand on this please help.
Has any one got the number of the First Choice head office ?

In the booking terms and conditions it says "Occasionally we may need to make a Major Change (see the Definitions section). If we do you must tell us as soon as possible if you wish to accept the change or cancel the holiday with a full refund".
Under the Definitions section the first Major Change on their list is
"A change to your UK departure airport".
I think your travel agent is fobbing you off because it appears that you are actually entitled to a full refund. You should take the full refund and re-book another holiday, don't go accepting compensation. Get the holiday that YOU want, not what the travel agent wants you to have. Or even book your holiday yourself online!

i kicked up a fuss because that then meant we would have to drive and park car etc etc - in the end they paid for our car park and gave us vouchers for a meal at the airport - stick to your guns and geet pestering for something - like the saying goes "if you don't ask you don't get"

Airport so thats something at least.
So roll on 1st May when we will be staying at Sun Club City Olu Deniz

going to have
