hi rtkcandy, dont worry i think everything is the same just the p/t closed.
as you probably already know we went last year and had a fantastic time, even though the p/t is shut i'm sure you will love the p/p and there is so much to do you probably wont even notice the p/t.
hope you have a great holiday and dont forget to come on and tell us all about it when you get back...

Some reassuring news, a lady came into work on monday, saw me looking at the brochure and said that a friend of hers had just been to the PP, at Easter, and had a fantastic holiday. Also a child in my son's class has stayed there, not sure when Simon just told me this morning, and apparently loved it.

Ive been and picked my tickets up this morning although travel agents had them a while and not phoned so its worth phoning and seeing if yours have arrived, weve got 7 sleeps left now.

When I went for the tickets though I also got a letter from first choice stating that there is a new hotel being built at the side of the PP but building works will be suspended till after the season November, Im taking the letter anyway incase there is any hammering and banging can take it to the rep and complain thats what the travel agents told me to do.

10 sleeps till we go got our tickets are all well excited can't wait to see you all when we get there.

A hotel is being built next door. Well at least if they are building it Rob says we will all have a built in numatic alarm clock :lol:

at no extra cost.

We also had a letter to tell us that the non-motorised water sports are no longer availble or the baby sitting service.

hotel has changed already

hi just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of info. we are booked into the tropical on the 24 august for 2 weeks and a few weeks ago i was in the local fc shop asking about the tropical being closed until 17 july. i was told buy the rep in the shop that the tropical was closed due to being under filled and that come august both would probably be open. i went on the fc website today to get a price for some friends who may want to come with us and on the web it says the the palace and the tropical are seperate now. i know that this was happening next year as ive seen the brochure but the web has them seperate this year. so my question was does anyone think that we will still be able to use the facilities at both hotels as they share the same grounds.

towels are definately included, but try to claim a lilo as soon as you can, there like gold and people (and we did to i,m ashamed to say) take them back and forward to their rooms for the duration of their holiday.

it might be different if the pt is closed and they bring cushions from there to the palace, otherwise its first come first served.

for heaven knows how many times but i,lll say it again...if you have kids your gonna love it....if you havnt any kids dont go !!!!!

hi we were at tropical august of last year with kids aged 8, 4 and 3 and we had a ball. scottish mum with your attitude i will be amazed if you don't enjoy!! can't wait to read all your reviews when you return!! all i would say is take plenty of mozzy stuff although that said they never touched the kids and the bites me and hubby got soon went and never got infected or anything nasty like that!! enjoy your hols, we are off back to hol villlage costa del sol this year (were there in 2004) but have a feeling may be back at pegasos 2007!!

The brochue advises the hotel has internet access. Would someone please be kind enough to put us out of or missery and submit a post whilst your there.

Hi All,

Don't worry about the building work as its against the law for building to be done in tourist season in Turkey, so there won't be any construction or pneumatic alarm clocks to worry about! :lol:

Just wanted to say to anyone going out the the Pegasos Palace next week have a fab time if you all go with an attitude like scottishmum's you will all have a great holiday.................i have to wait until August but my feelings are the same we have paid a lot of money and i think it will be fab if we think we will have a good time im sure we will.
My glass is definitley half full!!
Cant wait for all your positive reports!!!!

We come out 3 days after you and still no tickets either ....if your like me the tickets make it all real!
Nevermind i just have to make do with packing and unpacking cases over and over :wink:

other half has the hump cause we move house 4 days before holiday and i am quite content to mess around with holiday stuff but havent bothered about packing up rest of house!
All about priorities is it not?! :wink:

Dont arrive at hotel till about midnight so you can have a drink waiting for us Scottishmum :wink:

Will be letting everyone know my verdict after my first nights stay.

Will join you lining them drinks up Catherine when you work hard must also play hard, cant wait for that bar to open 10am first day Ill be first customer.

Not that ive got a drink problem or anything, just like drinking ha ha.

Its very quite tonight, hope thats a good thing all positive thinking.

Now I might upset a few women here unless your like me but we have to find a sports bar cos otherwise were gonna miss UEFA Cup final, FA cup final and the play offs and Barnsleys in there so cant miss that is there a bar in the hotel Catherine that caters for the footy fanatics.

Still six sleeps, cant someone make it go faster please.

Unfortunately, there were no screens at the Pegasus in bars. Can't comment about Sarigerme cause only went in the day at the end of holiday (bad choice). Keep positive, you will have a great holiday but I only hope that they decide to put screens up during the world cup weeks. If FC have anything about them, they would do well to screen the England games in the amphitheatre. Now that would create a great atmosphere AND go and go a long way to getting back their credibility about the Pegasus site.
