Benidorm will not be the same this year or ever again :( Phil will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of seeing or talking to him and knowing him and by all the kids who went year after year taking him drawings or pressies including my 3.

I have been offline since September due to Laptop having to be repaired.

Have just read this post and am totally shocked.

We saw Phil lots of times whilst holidaying in Benidorm and he was a great guy.

All my family will miss him very much.

my family and i have known phil for about ten years, and each time we went in panchos before the show he was straight over to your table giving you and hug and kiss always happy to see you.
He was a big liverpool fan as we are, and proud to be a red

He was a lovely guy, made thousands of kids and adults happy over the years. so sad he has gone, benidorm will never be the same without phil.

My mum told me the sad news this evening about Phil passing away. I am so shocked and cannot believe that he will no longer be there when we return this summer.
I will always remember the happy times my family has spent watching Phil. I adored to just watch him do his show & look at the delight on the kid's faces. I will keep these special memories over the years of my son (11) getting a roadrunner balloon, my dad 'hands up in the air' to avoid a custard pie, my sister 'following the leader'.....I could go on.
All of the things that have been posted are so true - he was such a special person with a unique personality that crossed all age bounderies who touched everyone who ever met him.
My deepest sympathies to all of his family & friends and I will remember Phil always with a smile.

'Go on Phil'! xxxx

would love to attend as we are friends of phils from liverpool
But we have booked to come over for easter, other families might have done the same.

Could something be done over easter for him if possible. there could be a lot of families going to panchos who are not aware of phils death.

We have known phil since 1997 and were with him in oct 2005 enjoying a night out with him.

PLease let me know what can be arranged.

RIP PHIL YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE

I was really shocked to read about Phil. We went to see Phil in June because people on the board recommended him. I always remember the first time we went to see Phil my son is quiet shy and was hovering in the back ground after a while he said the boy in the striped tshirt come and get a drinks voucher my son went up and that was it he was joining in every night. He just had that knack with kids. When we went in October my son said it wasnt the same. When i told him about phil he was really shocked. Benidorm will not be the same without Phil. My thoughts go out to all his family he will be missed by so many people.

RIP Phil

i also used to know phil from his early days when he was a dj. unfortunately i cannot get out to benidorm untill the fiestas in november. would it be possible for maybe his friends or family in the uk to organise something over here also, perhaps in liverpool. i for one would be able to make it and im sure you would get a good response from lots of other people who cannot get to benidorm.

As a family we regularly went to Benidorm at different times of the year. It was always a bonus to know you could go and see Phil the Clown and that children of all ages (and adults!) would be kept amused for hours. It was so funny as a parent in the early years to leave panchos late in the night and see phil in his black suit working on the door, he use to ask the kids had they had fun with phil the clown, the poor kids never had a clue it was the person they had been danceing with earlier. That was part of the magic he was. People often say you look back with rose tinted specs, but not in this case he was an entertainer of the highest calibre, a true gentleman but most importantly somebody who you came to regard as a true friend. The 'dorm' will never be the same again but life does go on and his family and friends will never forget the genius that he truly was.God bless you Phil and Im sure you will get him with a custard pie if he doesn't join in with 'follow the leader' To his family we send heartfelt condolencies.

it would be a good idea if something could be organised in liverpool for phil as he had loads of friends and fans here, and he was a big liverpool supporter so a tribute held in his memory would be a great idea

RIP PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE XXXX

Browsing Benidorm sights when I came across this tragic news. We have been to Benidorm 3 times and always made sure we went to see Phile very other night. My son loved him and we loved what he did for kids and their families. He gave Thomas an opportunity to custard pie his dad. He was gutted when we told him the news.
Benidorm won't be the same.
Our sympathies go out to his family.

Go on Phil, custard pie the angels!!!

hello all. i just came back from benidorm sunday. i went over to celebrate my 18th. ive been going to benidorm since i was 18months old. i go once or twice a year. every year i go and see phil, i have grown up with him. four years that i have been there i have been away for my birthday when i was younger and each time we let him know and he would put banners up saying 'happy birthday ashley' and he would have me a cake made and dress me up as a clown and i would be his little helper. he told me to make sure i went to see him if i was away for my 18th, so i did and took all my pictures of us together throughout the years... then i got told the news, i was/am heart broken. he was like a best friend to me we shared everything while i was over there. i thought of him as 'uncle phil' which he thought was funny.

i for one am one of millions of people who sadly miss phil and will always have him in my heart, love you phil... R.I.P babe!
