We have 7 nights in malta mid april. All booked as a diy holiday, first time I have ever done this on the internet so hope it all turns out okay. But everything has been taken care of and I have saved at least £300 doing it this way for a party of 3 of us which is for 2 rooms.

We have also booked as just a couple to go back to Corfu this year. With the takeover of Mytravel by Thomas Cook last year, we are actually paying over £400 more this year for the same destination last year. The only difference is we are having to go 2 weeks earlier than last year as the flights from our airport were fully booked for the weeks we wanted at the beginning of October, and that was at the beginning of last December. We were told that is was because they had been offering low deposits. We also had to pay extra for the usual luggage allowance, we were only getting 15 kg instead of the normal 20kg and had to pay £15 each to get 20kg. There was also a further charge for our in-flight meals, something we used to get in with the package price.

This may be the last time we go back to the same place as we feel we are being priced out now.

Cant wait!!!!! We stayed at the All Star Sports resort last September for 2 weeks, so we kinda know our way around now - soooooo looking forward to it!

Just booked out of the blue a weeks holiday to Icmeler ..flying out on the 2nd May back on the 10th...cant wait and then we are back out there again In Sept for 2 weeks ...Bring it on!!

Have now booked a week in Benidorm in November at the Flamingo Oasis so it's now:-

Las Vegas in April/May for 12 nights

Spain, Portugal and Canaries cruise in September for 12 nights

Benidorm in November for 7 nights and

Benidorm in December for 7 nights at New Year

We've already done 5 days on Yorkshire coast at Feb half term.

Tomorrow off to Blackpool till sunday.

Off to Normandy,France end of May to take WWII mad son to see Normandy beaches. I went there twice with school over 20 years ago so will be 3rd time for me but its somewhere I've always wanted to go back to. Hoping we can get the train to Paris for the day too.Can't expect Hubby to brave driving into Paris.

BIG HOLIDAY - KENYA - end of July.SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about that one. A couple of months ago we thought it wasn't going to happen. I'm determined to get get over my needle phobia.

Just got to sort something out for October half term which will probably be a good old Haven holiday or something like that.

Trying to get as many hols as poss this year cos it's hubbys 40th and we'd rather spend on holidays than party's.

Might manage some weekends as well depending on football.

We are off to Naama Bay/Sharm el Sheikh on 26th June for a week's Scuba Diving. There are 22 of us going..another "Frog Squad" tour. Can't wait as it will be our first holiday this year and well needed.

We are also going to Thailand over Christmas.

Nothing else booked yet..don't know if we can afford it for starters but we are hoping to book a week in Gozo in August...but i have my 40th in September so we may wait until then before we go away...and we may stay in Italy..

Well we were in Goa November 07 (but guess that is really last year ) then we returned to Goa March 08. Our next holiday is a break in Berlin at the end of May, then we are off to Egypt at the end of August and returning to Goa at the end of November.

In between that we will go away several weekends, normally we do something every bank holiday weekend, could be abroad or a weekend in London or York, just need to wait and see.

Yes you could say that CiderMonster. Thats why I dont fly to Berlin until 31 May. Plenty time for celebrations then get over my hangover
