1 day parking at Paphos airport

Please can anyone tell me what the parking availability and system is like at Paphos airport?

We are planning to do the day trip to Cairo but are not on a pick-up route for Regency Travel so will have to make our own way to the airport for 7am.

If anyone knows the daily fee for parking I would be really glad to know (might be more sensible to take a taxi in)

At the moment it is awful, they are updating the airport and parking of any kind is very difficult.

Will be this way for two years during upgrade.

Parking there has always been free, but not sure what is happening now. Daily charges will not be more than £5 even if they have started to charge. Many people just park by the side of the road out of the airport grounds.

It is free still providing you can find a space and it is a legal space, otherwise expect a £50 fine, and the reason is what I said in the previous posting Carol...nightmare at the moment! :cry:

I'll be there in 30 days time (first visit) so I don't think the situation will have changed much by then by the sound of it. :lol:

It's particularly helpful to get your comments since we arrive on the Monday evening and will need to be at the airport Tuesday am hence no time to suss things out for ourselves.
