Up to Swansea, and then on the overnight Cork ferry. Long weekend in Southern Ireland. Magic.

We are undecide about our celebrationery holiday too.
We are thinking about the India/Khyber area - My husband has always wanted to take me there.
Otherwise, I would suggest you go where you spent your honeymoon - like we did 39/40 years ago - Paignton Devon!!

We have just come back today from the Holiday Inn at Plymouth and without doubt, I would recommend it to anyone who likes and expects to be treated in a friendly manner.

I would be thrilled to bits if hubby took me somewhere like this. One break we thoroughly enjoyed was Tallin in Estonia - we'll certainly be going back there.

Barcelona...full of different historic areas, nice short flight, and plenty of cool places to eat/drink/catch music/see odd stuff. The majority of it is nice and level, and has a great (on time!) underground/overground rail system. It's got creative alternatives whatever you like to do. There's a lot of DIY accommodation to get if you fancy picking you district (do a bit of research first)

Amazed my other half with similarly organised trips to Marrakech/Essaouira and Istanbul. I couldn't choose between them all, tbh, except that Barcelona is cetainly the easiest to get around (but more expensive when you get there).

love the romany place in Wales, but sadly booked in Sept!
