They have a number of properties in the Monte Canada complex Torreblanca. It'a a large private complex with many british ex pats living there. It's away from the hussle and bustle but close enough to all the bars/restaurants depending on the reason for your visit.

Hi can not say about Fuengirola, but you can try Miraflores and Riviera del sol. Both great areas and as your staying 8weeks i take it you'll have a car. !?

Thanks for the replies so far
Yes I will be driving down so we will have a car
The main reason for the 8 week holiday is just to see if we enjoy being away from home for a long period if we do then maybe next year we will spend most of the winter there I know lots of you do
Although we dont go out drinking every night we would like somewhere that is within walking distance to the evening social life
We would be gratful for any more info on accomadation

Hope you get sorted out soon Dipstick. I beleive the weather is good out there around March time, going out ourselves to stay with some friends !!!
My husband and I hope to spend our winters out there too, when we retire, but we still are much too young for that as yet !!!
