Does anyone opinion what would be the top 5 star hotel in Cyprus.
Many thanks
Gaz..........see a past post on the same subject....plenty of food for thought here
The Anassa, Polis area, by far the best and most expensive on Cyprus..movie star money.
wow jim that hotel looks lovely. I can picture myself there now just need to sell the house so i can afford it
We went to Atlantica Golden Beach at Paphos 4* at Easter brilliant Hotel wonderful food Thomson Gold so no children only bad point for some ,out in the sticks so no shops, bars etc. to wander around in the evening ,if that floats your boat as there are only a restaurant and a couple of little shops, we upgraded to AI well worth the money especially if you like a tipple and the packed lunches were brill and came in a cool box
For me is has to be the Annabelle in Paphos. I have stayed in many 5* hotels all around Europe and this one certainly has the 'x' factor.
I love the Annabelle I had Christmas lunch there last year, but I have to tell you the Anassa blows its socks off...no contest!
Stayed in The Adams' beach in Nissi bay in April. Couldn't fault it: great food, fantastic pool area, own beach, near Ayia Napa but far enough away that it's peaceful.
Wow what a hotel! can't see any prices though, mind you if you need to ask you probably won't be able to afford it......

The prices are posted in the link I placed on my first post, you do have to look at the sub links but they are there, not that I could afford them, I have never been in a hotel quite like the Anasser ever!! they even had small swimming pools in some rooms..ordatious or what!!
regards..
Jim
That's where I found them Jim via your link - it does look lovely but I would feel uncomfortable in something that was 'too posh'
All I can say is I wish...but I agree with you, I did have a good look around when it was being finished and I was very impressed, but way out of my wallet..
Have just had a look at the links and I think we'll have to stick to the Paphian Bay next year ---- (no complaints though!)
I would like to reccomend the Paphos Amathus Beach Hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. The location is fantastic and the hotel itself is everything you could want for a fantastic holiday.
I'll put a vote in for the Elysium as a pretty good five star in the Paphos area..handy for the Tomb of the Kings
THe Elysium only "pretty good" Sunbear? I was hoping for better than that - off there for a week in October..
