Only seen the pyramids & sphinx.

Unfortunately, i have not seen any of them.
3 were on my wish list anyway and I am visiting Petra later this year. I would like to see the Statue of Christ, the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal.

This is the full list of what are supposed to be the 7 new wonders of the world:

Chichen Itza, Mexico
Christ Redeemer, Brazil
The Great Wall, China
Macchu Picchu, Peru
Petra, Jordan
The Roman Colloseum, Italy
The Taj Mahal, India

Have seen all of them except the Christ Redeemer and Macchu Picchu. I don't have any longing to visit Brazil but I'm hoping to get to Peru before I get too old to handle the altitude.

I'd love to see the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio and the Colloseum in Italy. I love anything historical. I'm surprised that the Acropolis in Athens didn't make the list though.

I have not seen any of the mentioned 7 wonders , but I am very surprised that Angkor Wat isn't one of them.

But then again, looking at the 7 that have been chosen, which of those should be rejected?
I couldn't pick any that shouldn't be there.

Maybe they should have applied inflation and chosen nine instead of seven.....
