Yes a HUGE thanks to Mark. I really have no idea of the amount of work that went into the preparation for changeover to the new site, but I do know that it has been months and months in the planning.

It seems like the cavalry have contributed in this thread to express their thanks to Mark & Van.
As a foot soldier I too would like to say thanks.
I can't imagine where you start on a project like upgrading a site like HT and I'm sure it has taken many hours (that could have been spent elsewhere) a lot of patience, techno knowledge and I would imagine periods of frustration have crept in at various times.

As a member I do appreciate what must have taken place behind the scenes and it's very easy to sit back and take for granted the improvements which make this site enjoyable to use with the ease of layout and the extra facilities, simple things like the PM facility, Quote function and the Chat room, that are all an added bonus, which cannot be said for some other sites, plus you need a degree in navigation to get where you want to be and I usually throw the towel in and give up.

So, now I've got the emotional bit out of the way and I'm not likely to go there again this side of 2007.
