Hi all
Hubby and I are thinking of visiting Aberdeen for a 2 night break in November (Saturday/Sunday)
We're from Glasgow so used to the cold weather and rain.
I've found a lovely hotel just off Union Street, but looking for recommendations for a night out and eating out.
We're in our mid 20's like a party as much as the nice person but would appreciate a quiet drink too.
Its our 2nd Anniversary on the Sunday so would like a nice place to eat!
Helen
I can recommend the Albyn for a lovely meal - in Albyn Place at the top end of Union Street - you can eat in the bar or the posher restaurant - food in both is lovely. Good atmosphere in the bar and usually live music later in the evening, but not a rowdy place. In fact I'm going there for a meal tomorrow.
Or the Square - off Union Street (both have web sites so check them out). Or Malmaison - little bit further away from Union Street. Which hotel are you planning to stay in?
Thanks for the suggestions Meerkat, I will check them both out.
Ooh - very nice Helen. With that location you are literally right in the heart of the action! Lots of bars round about that area. It's a really good situation.
