Have you been there before? I only ask because we are slightly older than you and went there for the first time in May when everything was open and wouldn't go back. Just make sure if you do go that you're on Playa Serena and not Playa Romanilla where there is nothing! Playa Serena is where the hotels and restuarants are but even that I would find very boring for a long let. If you're planning to hire a car it may be different as you can escape - you'll need to! We are back to Benalmadena in Sept for a relaxing holiday with good local transport.
