About 17 years ago I had a massive panic attack (thought I was dying) and had to cancel our holidays as it quickly led to agoraphobia. We were able to get our money back. But......most insurance companies now don't cover for anxiety related conditions.

There are herbal drops/lozenges that can help - they're called Bach's Flower Rescue Remedy. Obviously check with doctor first to be on the safe side.

The problem with anxiety is that the symptoms are very frightening and can lead, quite easily to severe anxiety. If it is proven your husband has anxiety then hopefully he will be reassured enough not to let it take hold.

Get him to practise some relaxation techniques and as long as he knows that it's impossible to have a panic attack if you don't over breathe he might get over this soon.

Wish him well from me as I know this is a frightening condition.

Yes they're really frightening and distressing. I used to suffer badly years ago. I was having them for no apparent reason. I do still feel them coming on now and again but thankfully have learnt to keep them at bay. It is a case of relaxing, breathing correctly and thinking about anything that will take your mind off what's happening.
