http://www.holiday-rentals.com is a good site for accommodation
Also choose your destination carefully if price is a major consideration. Menorca and Tenerife seem better priced than say Algarve and Majorca/Ibiza but don't forget to check the price of flights too.
It's always worth checking with the owner of a privately owned property if it says sleeps 4 as they may be able to accommodate an extra small child.
For instance, I have a house in Spain and have a blow-up bed suitable for a child but don't advertise the fact.
it should be possible to find something suitable with a little patience.
Good Luck

There are a lot of privately owned apartments/villas and you deal directly with the owner.
Menorca is possibly a little cheaper than say Majorca. The Algarve is quite expensive. Cheaper still is Mainland Spain. Howabout the Northern Costa Blanca - not Benidorm but perhaps Calpe, Moraira, Javea or Denia. Or try out the Costa del Azahar - we visited there last October - superb beaches and not spoilt by mass tourism or high rise buildings. All of these are easily accessible from either Alicante or Valencia airport which are very well served by the low cost airlines.

thanks for tips - a friend also recommended key camp to me as they have chalet accommodation not just camping.
Having been there several times it is definitely the highest class of accommodation I have ever stayed in and as its a timeshare resort you could rent a week off someone reasonably cheap. You could have a look at the Anfi owners site which I think is http://www.anfiuk.co.uk or search on ebay for Anfi, you sometimes see people letting them out for a week or two on there.
This is the no1 timeshare resort in Europe and its all above board and totally legit, which can't be said for all of them. (my mother owns there, but unfortunately not looking to let out). The two bedroom apartments are enormous. They sleep six and most have a large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The apartments have a dish washer and a washing machine (a godsend with kids!). There are several pools, a kids club and the most beautiful beach with pure white sand (imported). Also watersports available on the beach. Its also only about 3 euros in a taxi to Puerto Rico if you want to go for the busier nightlife to the commercial centres.
You could look further at INVALID URL you won't find lets on here though, best go through the anfi owners club above.
