Hi, has anyone stayed at the Cala azul gardens
can only find 1 review on the hotel which I may add is very good.
Fancy a change from Alcudia next year, read the resort write ups on cala d'or, got 2 children age 12 and 6 and need plenty for them to do.
I have just checked the cost for an apartment with travel republic and it was very reasonable. has anyone used this company ?
thanks for any advice
There is a whole thread on Travel Republic which maybe of help -

The Last couple of holidays we have had we have used this company, it always seems agood price, although it is a do it yourselve group we have not had any problems with them YET! I was a bit concerened to start off with but eveything was fine. Bobby
We have stayed at the Cala Azul Gardens twice over the last ten years and just booked for a week in August. We've used Portland before but booked this time with LowCostBeds.com and got a good price.
Its a fantastic resort, great for kids. The Cala Azul gardens is one of the best self-catering apartments we have stayed in-clean, comfortable and with plenty of room. We have never had a problem getting a bed by the pool either, which is always a bonus!
I'm sure you'll have a great time!

We stayed at the Cala Azul Gardens last year and loved it. It was in a very nice spot, close to some good restaurants (the steak house just outside the apartments but can't remember the name, Andys Place, Devonshire Arms) and close to Cala Fererra and Emeralda beaches. A little further away is Cala D'Or Centre with the main beach and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Go to the Little Tavern in the own centre - they are very nice people and will make you feel really welcome.
