Hi Paul,

£4,500 is a decent budget, but unfortunately Christmas is a very popular and expensive time to holiday and the prices go crazy.

With that budget you are looking at the Hispanic islands, ie Dominican Republic, Mexico and Cuba.

I was looking recently at the Caribbean with a similar budget for Christmas (also 2 Adults/2 Children ), as a change from the Canaries.
To give you an idea, two weeks all-inc at the highly rated Playa Pesquero Hotel in Cuba was coming in at £4,853 with Eclipse Direct leaving on the 20th. On the Dom Rep, the well reviewed Iberostar Costa Dorada was a similar price.
Both hotels should have plenty of activities for the boys and being part of First Choice, you fly First Choice Airways which are reckoned to be the charter leaders for long haul.

If you're specifically looking at the "West Indian" Caribbean (ie Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua etc) I reckon you can double those prices, though Jamaica is generally a little cheaper.
