Hi,
We have a week off at the end of January and really fancy going away somewhere. As we have our 'sun holiday' already booked for August, we are thinking of somewhere in Eastern Europe, but not a clue where. Maybe Poland or Prague?? We are both 22 and are looking for somewhere with a lot of history, preferably somewhere that is central so we don't have the extra cost of hiring a car, but that has nice restaurants and bars that we would be welcome in, and somewhere that it wont be tipping it down with rain the whole time, but will be cold!!! Here's the bad bit......we don't want to spend too much on this, we are looking at spending £400 between us, and want somewhere that will be fairly cheap for drinks, excursions etc. Basically somewhere thats a bit different, and interesting. I know I probably sound a bit dim, but I know less than nothing about this sort of area, so your advice would be brilliant!!!
Thanks.
xx
You could do worse than to try Riga. went same time as you last year. Definitely cold and you should be able to stretch for 5/6 days on your budget - depending on how cheap you get your flights
