I have made a blunder and ended up accidentally booking a second set of flights for the same date (thought I'd booked with Excel, panicked and re-booked elsewhere....turns out it wasn't Excel..!!)
I have paid a deposit of £160 with Airflights for the original flights, and over £600 with Jet 2 for the most recent ones. Jet2 are an Indian call centre. Their website seems to say 'no refunds', but can I do a credit card chargeback?
Help!
You need to call Jet2 (Indian call centre of not), explain the problem and ask them politely if they would consider cancelling the tickets or giving you perhaps a credit for future travel. I don't believe that they are under any obligation to do so however.
jet2 under under no circumstances give refunds believe me i've tried, All they'll let you do is move them flights to another date and it has to be same destination and any difference needs to be paid. and with regards to chargeback you have no grounds to chargeback because jet2 have done nothing wrong although i suppose its worth a try but i doubt you'll get anywhere maybe its best to just loose the deposit with airflights
