Congratulations - just where we went for our honeymoon. Very romantic !

We stayed at the Admiral a few years back - it is a 3 start but right on the sea and in such a romantic little spot in the old harbour. You'd be able to sit in one of the traditonal tavernas down there, watch the fishing boats coming home each evening and listen to the accordians playing typical Italien songs. Apparently it is Sophia Lorens (sorry for the spelling) favourite spot and it really is a taste of real Italy amidst the hustle and bustle of this lovely time.

We left a review on Trip Advisor ages back and every time I check it still has lots of really good comments and gerat photographs.

It is 3 star but for the lcoation alone it should be 5 ! The prices are pretty good too and I think it is still only about £980 HB for 2 weeks mid August and the sea viewws sooooo cheap! I'm pretty sure they do 10 days

Have been to Sorrento a number of times and visited quite a lot of the other hotels -- many are nice but very very expensive so the Admiral is the best for value
