The great thing about AI (I think) is that you can be really altruistic about it.

I know from experience it's a whole lot nicer to keep working and keep busy, rather than standing around trying

to look busy that is

Mind you - AI isn't good for everyone
but look at it this way, surely the alcohol in your veins would ward of thrombosis from the flight.

The AI Package is well worth it, whether you prefer soft drinks or alcoholic drinks!! This way you can have as much as you like without worrying about the cost!
definately
Can anyone tell me what (if any) named brand of bitter is included with the all inclusive drinks package on the Thompson Spirit? Friend of mine wont drink anything but Boddingtons (which, as luck would have it was the bitter he could drink on the Sundream as part of the AI package we had on there!) If not included on the AI is Boddingtons available at all on that ship?
Boddingtons and Stella are both available AI on the Spirit.
thanks Luci - good to know that our friend will be catered for with Boddingtons as well as my husband who drinks Stella
When are you going Enchantica?
hope to be onboard on 5th September 2006 which is our 25th wedding anniversary. I believe there's a sailing on 1st September 2006 which is AI and kid free!

On the down side, my father in law has been on loads of cruises and his TA thinks that particular cruise is rather expensive. (we've been quoted £1450ish each, basic) I suppose you pays your money and takes your chance! He also said that when he was on the Spirit it was rather shoddy but I think that was about 5-6 years ago and she's had a refit since then? Mind you, that was quite some years ago too!
I just want to be double sure it's good value and a reasonable ship before I book it for such an important anniversary so I'll probably be asking the same sorts of questions time and time again about different ships!

Both AI and can confirm for anyone interested, boddingtons on board there for bitter people and stella for larger drinkers.

Friends of ours want to go on the Spirit, end of August 2006. Rang up Portland today and they said they would only get the Free All Inclusive package if they booked by Wednesday!!! So hope this helps some people!! xxx
That's a great deal
Yeah, does this mean that less people have booked? so they are continuing the deal so it will attract more people? or is it just a really good deal? (these friends have never been on a cruise before...which is why they have left it later than us cruisers!
it sounds like they are using every option to tempt the last few in
