would you recommend using a lounge with a 5 year old? It says children can use the lounge, but i am not sure if we'd actually benefit from using it.
what facilities does it provide?
thanks
I have used two lounges at Gatwick and to be honest I do not remember seeing a child's playing area. If there have been children they have been older than 5.
I was thinking of using the lounge because after we have bought a few drinks the cost mounts up, but then again i doubt we spend more than 40pounds, as we don't drink alcoholic drinks before flying.
morning yummymummy we got the airport lounge a few weeks back for £14 at that price you had to take it because as you know for 2 coffees at the airport its almost five pounds plus we always have about 3 drinks and a bite to eat so all in you can spend a right few pounds ..I took water coke crisps and biscuits out with me for the flight so to me its a good idea ...have to say sydney is right there were no kids in the lounge ......colleen
Just checked and it says children of all ages welcome.
There was one child of about 3 or 4 when I was there and that was all. She was delighted at the size of the planes!!
thanks for your reply celcat
Ive used a lounge at Gatwick a couple of times, but I am sure it was over 12's only. as my youngest was just old enough to be allowed in. Perhaps there are two ? So make sure you get the right one ?
