I've just found some info here- it seems it's possibly going to be a 24 hour strike.

the *planned* strikes involving aena (spanish airport authority) across spain are 20,21,24,25 & 30 April, 2nd,14,15,19 & 20 May, 13,23 & 30 June, 1st-4th, 15 & 31 July, 1, 15 & 31 August.
The outcome is expected towards the end of next week

I'm still not counting my chickens although it does look hopeful. It's stressed that the agreement reached is still just a pre-agreement which will have to be confirmed by the workers in a ballot.
The airport strikes has been called-off.
Not sure where you got this from Peter but according to various Spanish news agencies the results are not expected until Friday.
The agreement came into effect this morning and is valid until midnight 31 December 2018.
Great news for us holiday makers to Spain.
