also try sending all correspondance to ABTA amd ask their advice. i did this for my august 05 holiday and abta wrote to my travel and within days i was offered double the amount of compensation that they had already offered me. print a form on abta web site and you put how much compenstation you want and all your details and send with everything you have. as i said it worked for me. good luck

We used FC in 2004, we went to Bulgaria. Our holiday had been booked 11 months in advance and when we arrived at the airport were told that the hotel have overbooked us.

To cut a long story short, we were 10km away from the resort :evil:

We rung home to the travel agent back in the UK, complained to rep at resort, sent numerous letters to FC, they offered us a pitiful £200.00 for the four of us :evil:

We pursued via ABTA and finally we were offered £500.00
