You will be hard pushed to have a bad meal anywhere
Normally I would take the opportunity to pimp my Flickr page now, however I think you may have already visited?

Anyway, here's a quick write up I did following my holiday in Akyaka last year that may be of interest to you:
Kosem - ate here the most, often whilst watching Euro 2008 games. Chicken casserole, spicy kebabs etc. all very nice.
Kardelen Pizza-Pide next to the Golden Roof. No English spoken but nice Turkish Pide.
Yucelen - ate here on the seafront. The food was good and not as expensive as I thought it might be, however we didn't go back as we were both eaten alive! Mosquitoes don't generally bother me much but we were given a table that was not well lit and didn't realise we were being repeatedly bitten. Gained a nice circle of about 10 bites on my shoulder that itched for the rest of the holiday.
Had lunch at the Gulsah on the beach a couple of times and couldn't fault their egg and chips.
Golden Roof - I know a lot of people rave about it, but we didn't have a great experience. Had a Mama's Special and the steak was tough and also the waiter didn't bring our side dishes. When we asked for them the staff started shouting at each other then banged them down on our table without a word to us.
Had the set meal deal at the restaurant towards the car park from Kardelen Pizza-Pide (the Maydanz?). The food was very nice and the live music was good as well, plus we popped in a couple of times for a beer during their daily happy hour.
Kristal - Enjoyed the meal at the time, however my girlfriend was ill for the next two days and put it down to the chicken she had here (I had no tummy problems during the holiday) so we didn't return.
Otel Restaurant Bar Efron (?) Ate here twice, food good both times, although it was about the only place that didn't bring out any complimentary bread.
Had some nice fish in bread (with plenty of chillies) from one of the boats along the river (returned their on about 4 occasions) and had meatballs in bread from the small place in the main street that only seems to sell this. Probably my most unusual meal was ordered by sign language in the place next to the Kosem (didn't catch the name) which has a nice garden area. After pointing at various ingredients I was expecting some sort of spicy pancake, but actually ended up with (essentially) a cheese and potato pie cut into strips. Still, it tasted nice.
Minor glitches aside I would give dining in Akyaka an overall thumbs up for quality and value.
Cheers!
Thanks ellie_meg, fionay & Random Number for your replies - they're all really helpful
Blimey - I just took the mickey out of someone else for asking me the same question!
Most of those holiday pictures were taken with a Canon 30D, which is an old model now (replaced by Canon with the 40D then the 50D) but I'm still pretty happy with the results.
Cheers.
Cheers - I've got a compact Canon digital but would like to upgrade to a DSLR at some point.
