Just booked a week all in at hotel Alexis,We are a couple of fiftyishes never been to Cost Brava before but like a good time.
can anybody give me the lowdown on hotel and the resort of Lloret De Mar

In October 2004 me and few friends went to lloret de mar, but unfortunately it wasnt what i was expecting. because it was out of season, it was really quiet, and thought that a few more people would be about.

If you go as late as oct then the pr's will be very persuasive trying to get you to go into their clubs.

The nightlife is pretty good i found. Start off at mobys as they normally give you voucher buy one get one free, and then off to a club tropics, 3 floors of bliss.

Ps. if you you want a nice meal and very cheap go to the mexican place on the seafront. Very ncie people. Apparently we broke the record for drink.

Thank you very much to both Chrismaleuk and David I have looked at holiday truths/Resort Reviews and found them good,I think there is a bit of everything to keep us going for the week.

My son and his girlfriend have just come back from holiday at the Hotel Alexis Lloret De Mar All Inclusive,They said the food was terrible,To Cold,They had the same food at lunchtime and at Dinner in the evening,After the cleaners had cleaned out there room they kept finding sweet wrappers,The room next door had the door panels kicked in and the people were trying to get it repaired all week,The so called swimming pool on the roof was so small if three people got in there was no room and the other pool downstairs was so small and there was no room to sit around it so this is a farce. Getting back to the food he would not recomend taking children there as the meat products were of a poor standard.
The resort of Lloret De Mar was nice but beware of Hotel!!
The only thing that was very good was the transfer from airport to hotel and back this was done by Giro Transfer an excellent service and would recomend to anybody they were helpfull in every way.

Who did your son travel with, and has he made a complaint to the company.

Does anyone have any information regarding this hotel/appartment. They are offering all inclusive for 2 weeks for around £350 and something does not sound right aboput that in August.

this is HTOP's worst hotel in lloret, if not in spain.
if you are young, intend to party late and do not care about your accomodation (its only somewhere to sleep off the booze), then this is for you!
type alexis into search for costa brava and you will get some comments on it.
you could also try looking for comments on alpharooms website or on tripadvisor.
i'm sure they all say the same.

you can always eat at the other hotels in the chain!!! it is poss to just sneak in for lunch but i think you do have to book for evening meals, your reception will just ring through to the hotel. i was in the casino royal which is just by the bus station in march... food was amazing!!people were coming from the 4stars in the chain and saying how much better the food was here. as i see it, alot of the bad reviews are from people who go to spain expecting a full english with english sausage and bacon hp or heinz baked beans etc... or that hamburgers and meatballs do tend to be made with pork and this is why they may be a little pink inside, not because they are not cooked properly, but because they are made from a pink meat!!! these people should go to weston supermare in my opinion! when in Rome n all... when i weston eat chips 'n' gravy!!! when in a 3star hotel in spain eat alot of pork!!! But the little ice cream cups are to die for!!!

enjoy but just take ur ear plugs as the walls at the alexis are supposed to be paper thin like they are at the casino royal... Vodka helps though x

Hi has anyone stayed at the Hotel ALexis

Its just on one of the booking sites it states there are stairs to reception so this hotel isnt suitable for people with walking difficulties.

If anyone has stayed there can they enlighten me on whether is it really bad or not
