We have just returned from a 5 day break in Lloret. We stayed at the Royal Beach which I have to say I have no complaints about BUT it was full of people that had booked at the 2 above named hotels due to the fact that they are both closed.
The casino had a notice that it was closing on the 2nd January and advising people to go to the royal beach, but the problem was in some cases the Royal Beach Hotel didn't have all the details so unfortunately they had to pay again for their hotel stay.
Anyone that has booked with any of these hotels I would strongly advise that you check with your holiday company before you go what the situation is.
As an alternative.......
Go to the Htop hotels website and check the hotels availablity on there. It shows blocks of dates where the hotel has no availablity which is a pretty good indicator as to wether it is open or not.
None of the 3* were open at all in January.
Booked Alexis and got Royal Beach .......result for some people but not if you had to pay twice....

By the way, i forgot to mention that some of the people that booked only booked either last week or the week before.
