:pele :pele (sings) We're all going to Malta, we're all going to Malta, nanana
YESSSS! Finally booked for the Coastline in August (the missus is diabetic, & we were waiting for the hotel to confirm some stuff, hats off to Trevor (aka BuggibaHC) who came up trumps when the hotel was tardy). Finally back to Malta after a too long absence, and already looking forward to some Kinnie and the odd Hop Leaf (or Cisk, I'm not fussy)here & there
I don't know the Coastline at all, so any tips or info welcome ...
We have friends who go to the Coastline very frequently - he is a Coeliac and the hotel goes out of its way to make sure he has food he can eat. I think as long as the hotel is aware of the situation they will do their best to help.
Entertainment is very good especially if Johny Gee is looking after it.
You will have a great time.

I can second that report above, as a old Thomson Gold hotel the food is top class perhaps the best Half Board we have ever had, and the entertainment for a Malta hotel is tops to.
NOW
Thanks guys. You make me want to be there
We stayed at the Coastline last August and it was fantastic. The staff go out of their way to help you with everything. It is a bit isolated especially if you like a stroll on an evening, but the courtesy bus to Buggiba is great and the taxis are reasonable if you want to go elsewhere. We got married whilst there last year(at Westin Dragonara) seems forever now! Enjoy your holiday I am jealous!!
Have stayed at the Coastline twice the last time being during last August. My wife and son also had an extra 'crafty' week there during last Feb. school hols. I unfortunately couldn't go then because of work commitments!
Well would we bother to go more than once if it wasn't a good hotel? I think you know the answer to that and I can assure you that you will have an absolutely splendid time. The staff are excellent as is the food and the hotel in general. I would have no qualms whatsoever about going again and can certainly say we enjoyed all of our hols there.
You might find it handy to hire a car since the hotel is a bit out of the way. There is an excellent carpark at the hotel and I usually hire from Sunshine Car Hire in Qwara.
Make sure that you do have a sea view room because in August the Sun shines on the garden view rooms all day and even with air conditioning it gets uncomfortably hot!
Have a great time,
Trev
Cheers Trev, I'll e-mail the hotel nearer the time on that room tip.
