Belcekiz beach hotel in Olu Deniz .Great reviews . been there myself . Right in the centre of town (very safe) . Late dancing bar for the teenagers(plenty of british teengers) as part of the A/I which is open onto the street for a good atmosphere . after midnight the teenagers disappear to more of the same in Olu just around the corner or for the older ones a trip up into hisaronu 10 mins away. :) . Perfect

Or have a look at the hemera in side . Great reviews .we are going this year . There seems to be plenty going on nearby including an open air club across the road and a short hop into side.

hi mel,
i would say the beach in marmaris is not all that good and i found the sea not as clear as in other resorts, but that is only my opinion. they will have plenty of bars/clubs to choose from though.
have a look at altinkum, good beaches, safe clear waters and good selection of bars/clubs.

best regards. percy123. :que

Agree with Lynn, Belcekiz in Olu is a great place for teenagers. Compact and about as safe as you could be anywhere on holiday. Great beach and lagoon, enough bars (dancing and karoake) to keep them happy, and lovely atmosphere. I would be perfectly happy for my daughter to holiday with friends there.

lykia world is fab my daughter came with us when she was 18 and her boyfriend was 21 and they both loved it, plenty going on including about 19 pools, water slides, 2 adult only pools, but it is on the expensive side,so depends on their budget, its also a full board + not all inclusive, although really you will only need to pay about about 9.30pm for drinks as theres somewhere open til then . good luck with your decision, read on any hotel before booking

I can't recommend any hotels as I have never stayed AI but I would say if they choose to go AI not to go for one of the very cheap hotels, they may sound like fantstic value but they very often have bad reviews, bland mediocre food and not a good quailty of accomodation. Quality AI hotels are quite expensive but it isn't worth going for a cheap one.

I have always found Turkey a very safe country and as long as the girls use the same common sense as at home they will be fine. Just advise them to stay together at night and not to go off anywhere alone, the same as at home really. Marmaris is a very busy resort, there are loads of bars and clubs there. As a mother (even though my girls are only little) I would suggest maybe a smaller resort would be better, perhaps Olu Deniz as someone previously mentioned.

I would avoid AI and get a nice apartment in Marmaris. Marmaris is fantastic for night life and most of these apartments couldn't care how much noise you make, whereas AI hotels probably will. Also AI hotels usually stop serving drinks at 11pm. Then your daughter will be having to spend money on drinks anyway. Also the food in Turkey is gorgegous and if you dont get an exoensive AI hotel then the food will be poor.

Turkey is safe for girls. Just don't leave your common sense on the plane! I feel much safer in Marmaris than I do in Tenerife! :sun2

Hi again
We have been to Bitez in the past when they were younger and all loved it and had a great time. They would like a bit more going on now though but after reading reports on Marmaris and advice on here are thinking Marmaris may be a bit too full on ( also read about drinks being spiked, scary! :really ) So I think we're looking towards Olu and B Beach at the moment. Thanks so much for everyones input so far I really appreciate it and any further help on choosing is greatly received thanks

Maybe Bitez wouldn't be a bad idea after all, it is a nice resort and safer than somewhere like Marmaris and they could go for an evening out in Gumbet if they wanted something lively some nights, it is less than 10 minutes by taxi or they could go into Bodrum. As greenshoes says they could get an apartment and it will cost a lot less. Also they know the resort so they wont be going somewhere unfamiliar.

I know Ideally I would say Bitez too and I know they'd be looked after well. I think they want all inc so that they know what they're spending and how far their money will go. I'm not keen on the Marmaris idea although I did look at the Green nature recommendation and found a brilliant deal. I still think Olu would be a better option and am just about to look at prices for B Beach
Thanks again

celine this is for the hotel only as ive booked the flights , or did you want a package, let me know and ill pm it as i dont want prices to go up before i book lol, its only working out £68 a night for 3 of us which i thought was a bargain

Mel . the Belcekiz is only available via portland or thomson. You can book direct with them but their price always seems to be more . You could also have a look at doing it via thomsons for accomodation only . Often works out cheaper and then they give you the option of adding a flight if you want to.

Easyjet fly to dalaman :)

You could check direct holidays /thomas cook for the Hemera . Also portland

someone got spiked in the pub across the road from me last weekend, doesn't mean I am never going to go back to it. Do you honestly think that there are no girls being spiked in Bitez or Olu Deniz? Girls of 19/20 I would hope are mature and sensible enough
to watch their drinks.
