Apparently Longwood have cancelled all Thursday flights to Taba from 2 weeks ago and thus cancelled all Thursday booked holidays with them.
I found out by accident whilst browsing looking for a Thursday Easter holiday for 2007, where no Thursday flights were showing and contacted them direct.
Longwood confirmed this to be the case, but they wouldnt give me a reason.
I have booked a Thursday flight holiday for October, but on contacting my travel agent, they have assured me that they have many bookings and will continue with this holiday.

I was booked on a thursday departure with Longwood via Ezy travel (as helen already knows).
After a call to ezy travel, and a subsequent call by them to longwood, they confirmed that longwood have cancelled the thursday departure and have moved my booking to the following saturday.
Suggest anyone originally booked for a thursday gets on to their agent / operators asap to clarify the situation.

As per my comment in the other thread, I've been moved to a flight to Sharm with a long transfer up to Nuweiba, but still on a Thursday... This is also for an October booking...
