Hi Mistie ... we could certainly do with some recent opinions and feedback about the Alpha Apts, but when you say "all the reports are great but for the latest 1", I just wondered if you had in fact visited the correct reviews page .... please click here to make sure.

Mistie, I've stayed very close to Alpha many times but never in them. From what I've seen, they might not be ideal for families unless the children are slightly older. There always seems to be quite a few teenage lads there behaving as teenage lads will, nothing serious, just very loud music and football games in the pool type stuff, so if this boistrous behaviour is likely to cause friction then be warned. The location of the block couldn't be better. I've been in the bar for a drink now and again and the photos on the wall and souvenir shirts left by people to decorate the walls suggest that most people do have a good time there.

Thanks for that.
At the end of the day, We'd only really be sleeping there any way

We had no problems with smoking in Benidorm.
There were a few bars that had both SMOKING & NON Smoking areas
J&J's for example. If you require anymore help please get in touch

so have you visited these apartments twice mistiebert? I am going in July with hubby and 2 boys aged 9 and 4 and not too sure what to expect as havent found loads of info on them... we normally go to AI hotels so this will be quite a change for us !!

We've only been the once. I looked at the reports from on here and also Trip Advisor. For the cost of apartment you can't go wrong. The only comment i would make is they are very basic, but you pay for what you get. If you ain't bothered about a TV or Air Conditioning as these are changed as extra's. The apartments with 2 patio doors leading out on to the balcony(loads of room). The Pool is only small but goes with the amount of rooms they have. These apartments are in a good location, straight facing the Rio Park, they are very clean, for a 2*apartment staff ok, couldnt fault it, your location is ideal for eating places, and a few quite drinks if you fancy one. It will take about 5-10 minutes tops to the beach. AI is ok (We've Done It) but if the hotel food is not your cup of tea, you will be paying out twice. We have eaten all over Benidorm as we have stopped at 5 different places over the years, and it doesn't have to cost the earth. We will be returning next May again.

We were in conversation with some people from Liverpool last December who were staying at the Alpha Apts for a month. They said that they were basic, but that everything was fine there e.g. clean etc. If you want a really good breakfast (or any meal for that matter) try the Wookey Hollow II which is just down the road - the food is very reasonable and excellant quality. Also there is a bar called Mc Laughlan'sDuty Free a further bit down from the Wooky Hollow - reasonable prices and a good atmosphere

Hi all, got to be a quick one and I'm new here, so hello!

We're going to Benidorm in August 2010 for a week, our travel agent suggested we email the hotel with a couple of requests (especially seeings as one side of the hotel overlooks a carpark apparently!)

So I need an email address which I haven't been able to find online, and also if you've stayed there, what side is the best side to stay on for a nice view? We don't mind too much, as long as it doesn't look onto the carpark. We've also heard the lifts are dodgy so are going to request a low floor if possible. You don't ask, you don't get right?! ;)

Any advice or contact details will be much appreciated, thank you! :D

Welcome Sephs ... I have merged your enquiry with this existing topic, which may provide you with a little more info, links to reviews, etc while you wait for more feedback.

The email address I have is info@apartmentsbenidorm.com

You use the word 'hotel' a couple of times, but I assume you are aware that it is a self catering apartment complex.

Hi David, thanks a lot for that. Was writing my post during a lesson so wasn't concentrating, I do mean apartments.

Will give that email address a try now, thanks again!

Thanks for the email address David - I managed to successfully contact Alpha and they have replied well in advance so that's brilliant :D
Hi all,

Thought I'd post in here rather than creating a new thread. We've booked to stay at Alpha Apartments from 28th Aug - 4th Sept, I have a couple of questions for anyone who's stayed at Alpha if anyone would be so kind to answer them for me!

1) Was there a room deposit upon arrival? If so, how much was this and did you have any trouble getting it back?
2) How did you find the safety deposit box, how much did it cost, was it secure and would you recommend us getting one? (Someone mentioned we wouldn't be protected against theft through insurance, (Thomas Cook) if we didn't use the deposit box, don't know how true this is so if anyone can shed any light, it's appreciated!).
3) Is check in all day or are there specific times?

And also, are there any other tips you have for us?

Thank you if anyone can answer any of these :D
