For the second time running when I have booked online with Thomson I have been able to access the 'Manage my booking' section with no problems. However, a week or so before my final balance is due I have got a message to say 'This booking cannot be conducted online' and I have had to call their 'help line'!This has cost me money and - which I think may be more to the point - I have had the sales pitch regarding booking seating options etc.!
The excuse each time has been that the website has only accessed part of my booking?! It managed to take my deposit and allow me to check out excursions, hotel info. etc. until the time they sent out the balance due reminder to my e:Mail!
Think I will polish off my broomstick next time!
) a further 6p pm for 0844 numbers -if you are on hold listening to muzak for ~20 minutes you can quickly be faced with a £2 call -then you get cut off! "Local" rate numbers I can dial via an indirect access supplier like 18185 and it only costs 5p connection charge -but not 0844,0845,0870 etc
