Hi,
Last week we had a telephone call from a company called 'Bonus Week Breaks', they offered us 1 weeks accommodation any where in the world within the next 3 years for a cost of £169, as an incentive you also get a weekend break in the UK.
From what I can work out, you go to a 4 or 5 Star hotel, you have to attend a 30 min meeting ( if you are interested in buying a property abroad then you get a longer session) and that is all.
And they are CIF (similar to ABTA) registered, this does seem a bit too good to be true, mind you I know a friend of mine went on a free break, I think it was Bulgaria or some where like that, he said that I could go totally free as well, but didn't take him up on it.
Thanks for responses..
its yet another way to sell you a time share [by another name]
this does seem a bit too good to be true
.... in which case it probably is !!
I'd be very, very suspicious.Who, or what, is C I F ?? Who says this is similar to ABTA and have you checked this independently?
Googling 'Bonus Week Breaks' brings up timeshare website references such as here:- http://www.timesharetalk.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4572 and that should be enough to tell you to treat them with extreme caution.
In line with our policy to not discuss Timeshare topics, I'll close this one.
