Would like to know if they had kids club there? doesn't state in Thomascook book.
Thanks
Someone was there is 8/2008 and mention there being plenty to do for kids but not kids clubs especially
your children will have a fantastic time, and so will you.
The kids club is : age 5-11
things going on throughout the day
teenage club : age 12-16
water polo, darts, archery, rifle shooting , marina games, All supervised
Adult club -Much the same as teenage club,
we never saw our kids , they had a fantastic time, and I am so jealous you are going, if I wasn't going to Florida next year
I would go back there in a flash
The food is also great,
if you want any more information send me a P.M. and I will answer any questions you may have
Seriously considering this hotel. Just one question - is the evening entertainment held inside? From looking at the photos it looks as if it is which is a bit unusual for a Spanish hotel.
Another word of warning If you want
a sunbed with parasol be prepared to get up + put your towel in the Queue as they don't open the poolside area until 8.30 and it is like a scrum to get the best beds.
Thanks for your reply! We have booked for beginning of July and we can't wait. The kids are 8 and 5 and have never been abroad before so I am hopeful that they will join in with the kids clubs etc. We booked a double 4 room so I am hopeing that they will have a bed each and won't have to share a double. I know that most Spanish hotels don't really do doubles anyway!
The entertainment staff are brilliant, Steve and vicki have been there for a few years and are great .If Ollie is still there he is also good fun,
I'm sure you will have a fantastic time.I wish we were going back this year.
If you are arriving late they will also open the restaurant for you , we got a chicken salad and of course the drinks are on tap so it was great, and this was at 1:30 in the morning . Brill...
Thanks again We should be there for lunchtime as we have a very early flight. I am really looking forward to it - sounds like a brilliant hotel. BTW - which floor is the restaurant on? I was going to ask for a high floor facing the pool - would this be a good choice?
thinking of booking this hotel for September but could anyone please let me know how far it is from the harbour. thanks
The harbour is about 10 - 15 mins walk away ,
Thanks! Will request a pool view room and see what happens! Just wondered if Alcudia itself is child friendly - ie play parks etc and do the cafes/pubs have outside play areas? We will be eating in the hotel but it will be nice to go for an after dinner stroll to work off all that good food I have heard about Sorry Scousemags but now I've found you the questions just keep on coming..............
It is A nice stoll to the Marina/Harbour /Port area It is all lit up of a night, and only about 10 mins away. we never really went out of a night , only once or twice because our children had made so many new friends they didn't want to go anywhere.
The more I am telling you the more I want to go back, you will have a great time and so will the kids.
I am really looking forward to it though. Ive been to ibiza for the last 2 years so this is going to be a nice change for us.
I always go to mallorca towards end of May , the weather for the last few years has been rubbish, last year being the worst, Thunderstorms and really heavy rain, not one chance to go on the beach ,hope this year it is going to be better, I will be there in 12 weeks, in fact ,fingers crossed I should be at the airport.
Just wondered what kinds of things they get up to with the kids? My daughter is 5 and will join in with anything but my son is 8 and usually has to be persuaded!
for the under 12 's they have a mini club, they do lots of activities tee shirt painting, pony trekking , games, and of a night they have entertainment from about 6.30 - 8-30 suited to their age.
