Whilst visiting various drinking establishments around C'd or we collected a small magazine called cala d'or scene which gives out really good info on the town, they now have there own web site at http://www.caladorscene.com
It has all the information that anyone who is not familiar with cala d'or or cala egos might need to help them enjoy their stay.
they have other sites at, santa ponsa, alcudia, cala millor and magaluf,
hope that it may help members to think of sunny days ahead,
28sac.
Off to Cala D'or in October so will take a look at the web site.
What a good web site. Off to cala dor in july for the first time was good to see map of the area. Cant wait for those summer hols..
I went to Calador in October 2005 - I enjoyed the holiday but as a disabled person I found the resort to be extremley hilly, the beaches were lovely coves but certainly not suitable for people with walking difficullties
I have heard cala dor is abit on the hilly side hope you still enjoyed the weather and scenery though.
Where abouts did you stay? Im staying at cala dor playa apartments. Can you reccomend any good restaurants?
Look forward to your reply

Cala D'or and the area round about is some of the best on Mallorca.

Titch take time out to find the Irish Bistro its great and we have never had a bad meal. Sunday lunches are the best in Cala D'or and they are always full and booking is advised but well worth it. It is on the A2Z mallorca web site under: South East-Cala Egos-food and drink. It is situated behind the Rocamarina hotel on the road from Egos to the Marina over the road from the new bowling alley. There are many other good places around but it can still be pot luck in the summer as some nights we have had a good meal and other times not so good. In Cala D'or square we have always had good meals at Regina resturant so give it a try. You will be spoilt for choice as you also have the eateries around the marina that are also great. Enjoy yourself, 28SAC.
Hello 28sac. thank you for the info im sure we will give it a go. 19 weeks to go, can't wait
