there is the sports pub just outside the front entrance where the football will definitely be on and gets a really good craic going in the evening even though it's not part of the AI package it's a useful place too as it has Free WiFi as long as you are buying beer

hi guys just returned from the aqua blue this morning and i will now give you my honest opinion first of all the hotel was lovely really impressive arrived at night only to be given a room miles away and as i have walking difficulties it was not suitable but that was fine next day they changed it to a room near reception they could not do enough for us everywhere is so clean they never stop from morning till night time the next day we had a wander round and i have to say this complex is massive its 30 acres and everything is spread out i spent most of my time at the wave pool which only comes on about 4 times a day i could not walk around as it was so big and the floors are the most dangerous i have seen the ammount of people that fell was unbelievable and i dont just mean running kids the food becomes a bit samey after 2 weeks but you can always find something to eat i had most of my meals brought to our room by my hubby and friends as the walking was a problem we never watched the entertainment but people says it was not much good would i recomend this hotel yes i would if you have no walking difficulties or you have a wheelchair as there are some ramps but i would not like to try them the glasses are very small but we had a laugh about them one thing to watch out for is ya towels being pinched from round the pool both hotel ones and your own we had one of ours taken if ya going to book any trips book with marco you will see him round the pool daily and he really looks after you will probably think of loads more if ya want to pm me ya can

We didn't find any problem with towels being pinched BUT we know that if you put towels on sunbeds and leave them the hotel staff remove them as they don't like people "reserving" sunbeds.

Isn't Marco a good guy when it comes to looking after his customers ?

hiya graham marco is brilliant and so funny he really looked after me he certainly has the gift of the gab but he is one nice guy as are all the staff the animation team are really funny as well there was a couple of ignorant ones but i only mean a couple and they were the bar staff one of which refused my nephew a drink of orange even though his band was visable as for the towels they were going missing for fun as our room was right opposite the slides we did not put them out till 10 am just as the waterpark was opening so really there was no need for any member of staff to remove them xx

off to aqua blue on 30th June just looking at transfers for 4 adults Travel republic do them for £32 return any advice on anything better also looking to do the quad bikes is it best to pay in egyptian money ? and if so is there atms on site thanks all

1/ Take Travel Republics offer it's fair
2/ they will take Anything curency wise but $ not worth it £ € ans L£ good
3/ If you have ridden Quads before go for Private trip - on site have good offers (near Lazy River ) but make sure your insurance is good as usual
4/ ATM's in side main building (in the Bank area) and some were being installed outside when we were there in November

I came back from the aqua blu 2 weeks ago and wanted to go back in november to find the prices have sky rocketed for this property, i cant priase the staff enough they were brilliant, Hesham looked after us from day 1 we had issues with our room when we checked in we had delays and got there 2-30 am but 3 room changes later we were happy, didnt have any issues with the towels goin missing but have to agree if u have any difficulties with walkin this isnt the place to go lotsa little bridges and yes they are quiet steep it takes a few days to get to grips with the complex layout as its a huge place, we have booked for november we stopping inthe sonnesta beach resort and casino as the aqua blu wasnt in our price range

Just two more things we are thinking about taking stirling with us is this the best thing to do for paying trips ect also read we dont need a visa and just to write sinai only on the back of the landing card is this ok we intend only going on the quads for trips

ps I have seen some varied reviews on this hotel some seem to love it and some say never again

does anyone know if there are any dress regulations in the restaurants?

Don't want be told i can't eat because i haven't got long trousers etc etc

we are off to this hotel in 3 weeks (2 families). booked nearly 12 months ago, can't wait. chose this hotel after reading loads of reviews and thankfully they continue to be mostly very good.

there is a notice about dress code, but as long as your are dressed properly i.e. shorts and shirt, there is no problem, and at lunch time, after coming from the pool areas make sure you have something on top, they tell you about it if you come in with no shirt on etc.
a great place we had a great holiday, enjoy

we were there in march easter hols,when we went in for lunch we had t-shirts on over our swimwear or kaftan's,my hubby & son worn 3/4 trouser's mainly in the evening,i worn tidy short's nice top we never got asked to changed,enjoy

I'll be the one trying to read a book on the sunbed, but getting dragged into the pool by my little lad instead!!
can't wait!!

Luckily, mine are old enough to look after themselves, while i look after the bar

I'm hoping to get a little time off for keeping the bar staff busy
